The proposed tower is conceived as a singular pure form rising from the ground plane to the parapet in a graceful spiral. The massing results from the rotation of a constant truncated triangular floor plate to create a powerful iconic form for this tall building. A two-storey podium element engages the tower on the east side responding to the similarly scaled Terasen Building podium. The large public open space fronting Georgia Street offers a sunny place for congregating and gives access to the cross-site link to the mid-block connectors to the north. The project is a joint venture with MCMP Architects and Arthur Erickson.
